THE COMPANY
Peter Bishop (Foster, Website, Business Team, Poster) Peter has been involved in all the different
facets of theatre and has taken part in all but the first of Entity's shows.
Recently, he tried his hand at acting the fool as the football-crazy Tony in Lovers
at Versailles. Earlier, he directed the very successful Wyrd Sisters
in 2007 and Mr Nobody for FEATS in 2005.
Colleen Burke (Shadow Character) You would have thought that after almost 50 years, I
would have learnt to keep my mouth shut!....but NO...
Well what did you expect from an Essex girl? I have been conned and seduced by
the promise of wearing peep toe stilettos...and I'll try and grow my own
moustache.
Maria Craig (Business Team) Maria started out as a cigarette girl
(in a high school play), then moved on to painting flats at a summer theatre.
She now limits her on-stage activity to three-minute mini-roles at Entity
workshops and concentrates instead on various aspects of publicity.
Blair Gaulton (Assistant Director, Producer, Shadow
Character, Business Team) Blair started out as a corpse and hasn't looked back
since. When not writing or doing karate he observes everyday life for
inspiration.
David Godden (Business Team) I joined Entity for their
first production, doing various jobs within the group including as an actor,
director, stage manager, lighting designer and member of the business team.
This all started when I played George and killed the dragon in primary school.
I have appeared with Entity in A Day in the
Death of Joe Egg, Nude with Violin, Man of the Moment, An Experiment with an
Air Pump and Wyrd Sisters.
David Kinsella (Jimmy) Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. During his school
and college years, David was actively engaged in theatre productions. After
pursuing a career in law for several years amid the bright lights of London,
David moved to Munich and is currently indulging his passion for theatre
through Entity.
Sonja Knölke (Stage Manager, Set Design) Born
in Munich, I soon developed a passion for everything hidden, new and strange.
So I enjoy digging through quarries, old graveyards and flea markets. Wanting
to try everything creative, I discovered that theatre was the missing element.
Since using too many tools and paint on actors was not allowed, I chose to use
tools and paint around the actors.
Roxey Lau (Shadow Character, Box Office, Props, Business Team) Besides her role as international success coach and author, dedicated to
supporting people to live a life of power, passion, and purpose, she delights
in her moments on the Entity stage and is often seen in roles of children,
freaks, and men. She also loves participating in FEATS.
Martina Meyer (Shadow Character, Costumes, Make-Up) is
German but fell madly in love with all things English (except Marmite) when, at
age 11, she saw Brideshead Revisited on
the telly. After acting in a wetsuit, knitting on stage and ageing 30 years for
Entity, she's now playing the costume lady.
Jennifer Mikulla (Shadow Character, Dialogue Coach, Business Team) Jenni has been living in the Munich area
for the last 33 years and started acting as soon as she touched German soil –
learning a new language does that to you. Acting in German theatre companies,
she went from the classics to cabaret, but finally discovered Entity in 2001,
and has been with them ever since. Her ambition: to play Lady Bracknell in The
Importance of Being Earnest.
Heiner Mohnen (Director, Business Team) Born in
rural upstate New York, Heiner spent most of his
adult life in Los Angeles, where he worked as a producer in the entertainment
industry. As a youth, he saved his pocket change for train fare to Manhattan
and discount theatre tickets, and has been in love with the stage ever
since. Now based in Munich, he is finally pursuing his theatrical passions
and is honored to be an active member of Entity.
Jim Nellis (Soldier) Born in New York, Jim has appeared in productions of You Can't Take It With You and Hip, Hippy,
Hooray! , and in Entity's
production of Wyrd Sisters. While living in San Diego, Jim
performed improvisational comedy with Changes Nightly
and was a regular at The Comedy Store.
Danny Strike (Sam) The first part I ever played was at the age of nine as Fleance in Macbeth. The last part will be the lead
in a play called Ton Up, which I intend to write in my hundredth year.
Swar Thounaojam (Lighting Design, Sound, Business Team) Swar has done production works for various
experimental theatre groups in India, written theatre reviews and worked with
children at Theatre Lab, Bangalore. Her play Turel
was produced in collaboration with Rage, Mumbai and Royal Court Theatre,
London as part of the Writers' Bloc Festival 2007, India. In Munich, she enjoys
walking around the city with a book and a bottle of water.
